Unfortunately the Kodak Z710 camera doesn't have 'any' indication on which lens size it is :(
It's a rare and silly thing, but there are no numbers, and even in the camera speciifcations nobody ever mentions it having a filter/lens adaptor screw thread - this is very odd since very very few cameras at this kind of level have any filter adaptor function.
The only 'slightly' helpful detail I have ever found, is that adaptor lens tubes (which is essential to have for ANY types of lens fitting) are all sold/advertised as being 52mm.
But :( as Joy Shannon has said - the item has been purchased, is 52mm, and doesn't fit.
It's very strange that the information on camera fittings on all of the many forums/reviews I've read through, just don't tell you what you need to know. Maybe it's a secret ? lol
The only thing I know for certain now is, as well as lenses to help with UV light, and macro's and things, you also will need the lens tube - otherwise with the lens fitted, the camera zoom lens will project out and hit the lens cover - this happens regardless of if you actually use the zoom of the camera.
The hood you buy needs to be the same as the inner ring on your lens. If you look at the inside of the lens ring or on the outside of the lens it will tell you what size filters will fit your lens. If the 52mm is too small or too big you should be able to find a adapter for it so it will fit. Try going to B&H photo website. They have tons of photography items. Hope this helps.
