it could be because you didnt have enough service to send them wit

there is a service center number in your message setting. if it is edited your messages wont go . correct service center can be taken from your service provider. if that is right the reset your phone once it will start working fine.

Hi , The settings for this function are stored on the phone via txt message from your service provider (virgin).When you use your sim in a different phone all you do is request settings to be resent and install from the options that come with the message , check the phones/sim stored numbers for virgin to txt "get settings" , or check online for the number to request

This is simple u ask ur service provider for mms activation&receive settings then u send r receive any mms

Contact your service provider and ask them for message center number and enter that number under message settings. You will then be able to send the messages.

How can I use the messaging features on my Motorola phone? To send a text message:

• Enter your Message menu
• Scroll to Create Message and Select
• In the To: field, either enter a telephone number**, e-mail address**, or Browse your Phonebook, Received or Dialed Calls list.
  
• Enter your message in the MSG: field
• Select done when you have completed the To: and MSG: fields
• Confirm that you would like to send the message now

To Store Message Objects - Go to a multimedia message slide, or highlight an object in a letterand select Menu, and then Store
To send or create a quick note message - Select Menu, Messages, and then Quick Notes
To view sent messages - Select Menu, Messages, and then Outbox
To read received messages - Select Menu, Messages, and then Inbox
Tip: Press Menu to perform various operations on the message.

ok first make sure your phone has enough credit or your post paid bill is paid.If thats ok,go in message on your phone,then go in message settings,and make sure the service center number is correct.

Error message 38 means there was some type of problem with the number to which you were texting. When sending a text message, make sure you are sending the message to a ten-digit mobile number (assuming you are in the US). If you're sending a text message to an entry you've saved to your address book, make sure that you stored the number with area code in your address book.

If all of that checks out, or if you've had no problems texting to this exact number before, you will want to place a call to customer service with your wireless service provider. They can look at message logs within their network to see what happened and why the attempt failed.

try master resetting the phone and master clearing it , if that does not work then call you mobile service provider for them to assist you
