I'm having exactly same problem. Not only I also other people have same issue. I dropped this heavy TV to the certified LG repair centre and the esimation cost for repair is $500.00 CDN. We decided to pick it up without the repair even we paid $100.00 just for the inspection.
My TV was working but no power at all now.
The repair centre says it's defact part so they are not responsible.
LG should recall this model.
I had this same problem it is your capacitors on the power supply board you have to replace nine of them they are the ones that are all the same size i fixed it myself repair shop wanted $500 it only cost $30 to do it my self u just need to kno how to solder wich i didnt kno how to do but i managed to do it u just cant let any solder to connect to anything its worth the try cause if u mess up u can always jus buy another board
