To reset my ipad from apple

iTunes enables you to restore iPad to factory settings. Before restoring, please note that you need to install the latest version of iTunes on your PC or MAC. Then go to Settings > iCloud to turn off Find My iPhone. Now, you can factory reset your iPad with iTunes as follows.

1. Plug iPad into the computer with the USB cable. The iTunes on your computer will automatically launch. If not, double-click the icon to start it.
2. Click the name of your iPad at the upper right corner of iTunes, and then the information of your iPad will be shown. Click the "Restore iPhone" button in the window to start.
3. iTunes will ask whether you want to back up iPad before restoring. You'd better choose "Yes" for the reset will erase the contents in your iPad. Then iTunes will start restoring your tablet to factory settings.
4. Click Restore again to confirm. Then iTunes erases your iPad and installs the latest iOS software. After you restore your iPad to factory settings, it will restart. Now you can set it up as new.

Ipad said disabled

please follow this step and fix it. God bless you

Corrupted software

It isn't often that Apple gives specific directions about how to fix your problem! Restoring the iPad will erase everything on it, so make sure everything on the iPad is stored elsewhere prior to restoring. To restore, connect your iPad to a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed. When your iPad appears under the devices menu, click the restore option under the summary tab. If you haven't backed up your data already, choose the back up option from the pop up window. Click the restore button to restore your Touch to factory spec.

Bad logic board

If attempting to restore the iPad and diagnosing does not fix the problem, the issue is probably the logic board.

Delll latitude xt wont restore to an earlier restore point

Hi kaliyahsherr,

I see that your Dell will not restore to an earlier restore point.

What version of windows do you have on your Dell?

I believe you already did try to do system restore but it did not work right, does it give you an error unable to restore to the selcted restore point, if that is the error then meaning there is a peroblem with that restoration point that you have selcted have you tried a different restore point?

If you did then most probably the system restore program on your windows is having issue restoring the system to any date that you may have on your system restore. if this is the case then the only option would be reinstalling windows starting from scratch.

There is another way to do System Restore on your computer but this is only known to work with Windows XP, I haven't tried with Vista nor Win7 yet.

we do a System Restore in the Command Prompt, see steps below.

> From shut down turn your Computer back on then keep on tapping F8 to select and boot into Safemode in Command Prompt.

> Once in the Command Prompt on the blinking cursor you should type in \windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe after typing this in it should look like this C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe, then press Enter.

> After pressing Enter this should show you a list of dates for the restore points highlight a data and time when you want to do the system restore and see if it will work outside windows.

> If this does not work then there is something wrong with Windows and needs to be reinstalled for the fix on your concern.

I hope that this information can be helpful regarding your concern.

Have a nice day,

I have M7 restore disks made off of my M7 hard drive. I'll mail them to you if you pay for shipping and the 4 DVDs....say $15? Then you can restore and the restore tools will be restored to your computer as part of the restore.
