WILL I NEED INTERNET ACCESS

I AM DUE TO START USING THE PPT 8800 FOR MY WAREHOUSE IN THE NEAR FUTURE, MY QUESTION IS; I WILL HAVE UP TO 3 PPT 8800'S IN USE AT THE SAME TIME,....WILL I NEED TO HOOK UP ALL 3 BASES TO THE INTERNET OR CAN I JUST HAVE ONE HOOKED UP AND ALL PPT 8800'S COME TO THE "ONE" BASE AND DOWN LOAD ALL INFORMATION?

Are you referring to the base kit for manufacturing floors ? What is the model number of your base?

I suspect when you say base you are actually referring to an access point. It would likely be model 5131 or (older)4131.

That access point can support many devices. Hence you need only one. Be careful to turn on WEP encryption (or TKIP) on the access point so you don't become the next TJmax!

Powerpoint 2003 corrupt problem

1. Go to the directory where the file is located.
2. Right click on the file
3. Select properties
4. The Type of File, should be PowerPoint Presentation
5. Opens File field should be PowerPoint.
If it doesn't have this, then select the change button & select PowerPoint from the list of applications.

The access to the internet may have something to do with Vodaphone - They will need to send you settings to save, which will allow you access.

Dialing through the modem

Ok sometimes PABX systems just don't seem to play well with modems... as a thought put a couple of Commas, a "Pause" B4, AND AFTER ya try to dial the 9, IE: ,,9, As sometime it takes a while for the PABX to "Latch on" to the DTMF tones. Thats all I can think of really.
