Asus 19inch LCD monitor keeps auto adjusting and turn off after 2secs. . i do reset it . . nothing happens. .it keeps auto adjusting itself repeatedly . . pls help me

The Auto knob maybe mechanically stuck or the internal switch may be defective. Try pressing the Auto switch firmly 10-15 times,If monitor works now the switch is defective and needs replacement. Do rate the solution.

Auto Adjustment won't work on Samsung 2253BW 22" LCD monitor

I looked up your monitor and that resolution is not supported. Which means auto adjustment will not work.
The video card will compensates for that, and resizes the picture for a display resolution that shows the picture anyway, (if it can) but isn't what you wanted. Your best bet is to use resolutions that are compatible, or get a (different) monitor.

Samsung Monitor MJ17VS

Check your refresh rate in your display driver properties. Try changing it to one of the available selections other than to what it's currently set to. It could be that the monitor is trying to match the signal received but can't quiet do it correctly.

Auto adjusting

Try wiggling the auto adjust button on the front of the monitor, it sounds like the button is jammed against the switch causing it to auto adjust over and over.

Auto adjust

Hi,
In case you have connected both the DVI and VGA cables to the back monitor can cause this problem. Try unplugging one of the cables and check if the problem gets resolved
