My GE profile WPDH8800J doesn't hit high speed spin during a full wash cycle, in other words my clothes are always too wet. When I put them on for an additional spin it's fine, the spin TAKES OFF! and the cothes are a mere damp. I see a few other people claiming that their machines have balance issues but if that's my problem than why is it ok when i run a seperate spin?
SOURCE: Cothes are overly wet, doesn't
Please clean filter or/and check the drain pump for obstructions. 99% of the time it works

Pull up sharply on the agitator to remove it from the shaft. Check the agitator mounting cup underneath it is probably stripped out. It is a replaceable part.
If the agitator is difficult to pull up,use a old strong leather belt under the agitator and pull it off using the belt.
