I have a samsung lcd-tft monitor (syncmaster 740N),the colours of which are gone and it is in warranty period so send me the addresses of samsung authorised service centers for lcd-tft monitors in noida and delhi-ncr,, yhankyou

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed SAMSUNG monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

LCD Samsung Syncmaster 740n 17... Fuse F301 is brocken.

My samsung(syncmaster 500s) monitor shows poor colours when connected to vaio laptop(XP home, nvidia geforce6200). how can i fix? could it be drivers?

yes it is drivers problem the drivers of laptop are not matching with monitor but you also try another on that laptop if persist then vga connector of the monitor is faulty

How do you open up Samsung LCD 740N monitor?

This monitor contains a latches to open. Its recommended that you use suitable tools and service manual.

If the unit is in warranty its recommended that unit to be serviced by service Engineer.

I just had my Samsung 740N LCD monitor auto adjustment lock 2hours ago.

But i found this cool solution at www.fixya.com

"Press down the menu button(1st button on the left) for 5sec or until the menu display gone?"
and it works for me. Hope it will work on you
