This is an error having to do with the .NET framework. You probably have version 2.0.
1. Before doing anything else, write down the .NET Framework versions which
are already installed:

How to determine which versions of the .NET Framework are installed and
whether service packs have been applied

2. Now see Resolution Method 2 in...

When you try to install an update for the .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0,
or 3.5, you may receive Windows Update error code "0x643" or Windows
Installer error code "1603" (ignore the title, if need be)

After running the appropriate/needed tool, (re)install all .NET Framework
versions manually using the download links on the page then run Windows
Update manually to install security updates for same.

I have error codes 663 & 80070490 so windows update when I install fails also laptop is a little slow

These error codes mean that your operating system is corrupt or "broken" you will need to repair windows. Do you have the windows disk that came with your computer? if not try this fix from Microsoft:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821
this might fix enough to get updates working again
if not try deleting the update records that are on your system
c:/windows/system32/windowsupdate
this file is a notepad file delete everything in the file and then save.
when it asks you to over right the file click yes and the restart your machine and try to update

Try this one.

Click the Start Collapse this image Expand this image, type timedate.cpl in the Start Search box, and then click Timedate.cpl on the programs list.
On the Date and Time tab, make sure that the computer's date and time are correct. If the settings are incorrect, click Change date and time.

Collapse this image Expand this imageIf you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.
In the Date and Time dialog box, use the following procedures:

To change the date

Under Date, click the left or right arrows to find the current month in the calendar, and then click the current date.

To change the time

Under Time, double-click the hour, minutes, or seconds that you want to change, and then click the arrows to increase or decrease the value.
When you finish changing the date and time settings, click OK.
Try to install updates again.

I got error code 661662663 on service engine soon

That sounds like 3 diffeent codes 661 , 662 , 663 , but they should have some letters as well , eg: C0661 , Once you have detirmined what the code is , you can google saturn codes , to find out what it means.

It's the error codes in Windows Vista,

Error 2503: Called RunScript when not marked in progress
Error 2502: Called InstallFinalize when no install in progress.

1. Your need to give full permission when you try to install the software in Windows Vista. The instructions can be seen here.
