Press the select button ( the button that you choose the temperature on the fridge and freezer) and check that the fan on both fridge and freezer are working.

Opening fridge door and it beeps

perhaps the reed switch (the magnetic switch to tell the PCB the door is open/closed).

With F&P fridges, the amount of beeps will indicate the error code which relates to which component is faulty.

Fisher Paykel RF175WDRX1. Why does the fridge beep when I open it?

check the thermostat setting for the compartment
it may not be set low enough so the alarm goes off when the compartment temperature reaches or exceeds that setting
some fridges have a system whereby if the door is open too long then it notifies the user to close the door

Why does my fisher and paykel active smart fridge/freezer keeps beeping when I open fridge? As if the fridge has been open for a long time?

Does the beeping start immediately or does it follow the designed timing as stated on page 12 of the manual? You would have to check with the manufacturer to see if the feature can be disabled. Page 12 of Fisher Paykel Refrigeration User Guide ManualsOnline com

I have a fisher & paykel active smart fridge the fridge part freezes everything and wont stop beeping when door open

Your fridge is telling you there is a fault, i'd say one of the 2 fans are not working. If everything is freezing in the bottom of the food compartment then the upper fan is faulty. You have to remove the shelves & remove the rear panel, the fan is in the shute at the bottom, remove, repair the broken wire or replace. Make sure unit is unpluged.

The fridge keeps beeping every few hours and you need to keep pressing the button in when it beeps also thetop of the fridgeis not cold as it should be

Generally either the fridge of freezer internal fan motor isn't working. The beeping is telling you there is something wrong. You can check this with a strong magenet on the door switch. Leave one door closed and put the magenet on the door switch and the light will go off. Then feel the back of the internal wall and see if you can feel air movement. Then check the other compartment the same way.

Fisher & Paykel Fridge Freezer E402B beeping when door closed

If the cabinet is warm inside it is a failed circulation fan, failed defrost causing the evaporator to freeze up, or it needs a refrigerant gas top up.

Beeping is just an alarm. It may be because of the more serious issues listed above but can also be caused by a failing door gasket, the door being left ajar (kids are famous for this) or the door has been left open too long deciding what to have for dinner.

I hope that answers all 8 of you :>D
