I'm trying to install a new toner cartridge into my printer (yes, it's a Samsung cartridge, not an imitation) and the printer won't recognize the cartridge - it keeps giving me an error message saying, Install Toner Cartridge. I tried removing and replacing the toner several times, opening and closing the cover, turning it on and off, etc, and nothing works. Please help!

Most toners have a wing or *** or? that contacts a sensor in some way when the lid closes to tell the machine a toner is present. ive had these pieces broken off on new toner or the toner sensor may be disloged from its seat. check around the perimiter of the lid to find the sensor then see if anything is present to trip the sensor. if its broken off stick a q-tip in the sensor that will get you printing til you can replace the part

SOURCE: Ricoh 2045 Doesn't recognize new toner cartridge

Please check the Toner supply unit.
If necessary dismantle it carefully and clean all the toner inside it and clean all the small parts. There must be 2 small mylars attached inside to the cover toner supply unit - If not there that's the problem.
Check also for broken parts.
Try replacing the whole toner supply unit.

Installed toner cartridge samsung clx6200fx and it keeps saying install toner what is wrong

Did you get a Samsung toner cartridge or an off brand? Toner cartridges have small chips that tell the printer how much toner is left.. Not all of those chips will work correctly.

HiTry going to you're control panel...click on printers and scanners...choose you're printer....Do a maintenance check on it..there should be an option to do this...Click on clean printer head, nozzles and alignment..Once these checkers have been done try printing a test page.I hope this works for youRegardsMichelle

the chip may be bad. did u buy genuine toners or imitations?
either way u should be able to get a replacement from the place u bought them, it is common problem.

Install Toner .When this copier is not recognized toner cartridge.If is not this model cartridge or some of missing.please check it properly.You can get an idea install your old cartridge.If the same massage,please check your printer any parts were broken.

ensure that the one you install is the exact model name and number, if this is correct, try unistallling once again and check one more time,

you might want to get a new cyan toner if this still fails, i dont think there is a prob in your machine, cheers

Printer not recognizing toner

Too much people confuse CLP-500 cartridges with CLP-510. Although they look the same and even fit inside the printer, the internal chip is not the same.
