What is the default password for the Lexmark T614 Optra? Trying to get on the web interface and cannot remember the password. Nothing on the internet so could someone please help? Thanks.

I had the same problem and it was driving me nuts. Turns out it was nothing more than the little flap that hangs down at the left hand corner of the output tray. It was stuck in the up position. After resetting it I had to cycle the power and everything is copacetic. Hope that helps

This sounds like a cartridge problem if you have changed the cartridge and the problem persists I would say it is the positive charge roller inside the printer. If you open the cartridge door and remove the cartridge with the cartridge out starting closing the door and you will see this roller moving down from the top inside of the printer. do not touch this without a glove or lint free cloth. not hard job to change if you can get one in your area if not we have them available.

The easiest way to solve this is to work through Lexmark Technical Support.
Their web site may have the correct engine code on their site, but installation of the code can be tricky.

After powering up the printer, press Menu, * key, # key (do not hold them, just press and release). You should see a secret menu, the first option being "Serial number". From there, I scrolled down to Network menu -> NVRAM reset to reset the network card. There also seems to be a Utilities menu which allows a full system reset.

Thanks for your reply Gerrit. I have tried both factory and cold resets. Blank password does not work. I have tried user, admin. I spoke with Lexmark and they advised that the username was MarkNet and the password was blank. This did not work either. Any other ideas? Many thanks.
