If you are referring to a web page, holding down the control key while pressing the + key will zoom in, pressing the - key will zoom out.

First) Turn your computer off by the plug.
Second) put a magnet over and around the computer
Third) it my help if you stick a long stick with a little hook on the end into the hard drive, the point of this is the factory screen and manual reset switch.
Fourth) take apart your monitor with a 22-E screwdriver, look for a red line over a cord, cut that cord. that will zoom out your computer monitor and will never be able to zoom in Agian.

Make screen bigger

To zoom in on a website in your favorite browser, making the website appear bigger, follow these steps:

Using the keyboard and a mouse with a scroll wheel:
  • Hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and roll the mouse wheel up to zoom in, or down to zoom out.
Using only the keyboard:
  • Hold down the "Ctrl" key and press the "+" key to zoom in, or the "-" key to zoom out.
To make the browser full-screen, taking up the whole screen on your computer, press the "F11" key. Press the "F11" key again to exit full-screen mode.

I hope that helps you!

How do i zoom into a page?? my son zoomed out pressing some button on the keyboard and i cant figure out how to zoom back to normal

Your question requires some clarification but I will try to sort your problem out.

Now I do not know exactly what is you computer's configuration (OS, software etc) so if my advice doesn't work do not get frustrated but think of it as a clarification request and reply back with additional feedback.

Now for the solution part, I assume that you are talking about an Internet browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox etc.

Your son used the zoom feature which you can use to your advantage. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open Firefox or whatever browser you use and navigate to the website which you think has been 'zoomed out'
  2. Press and hold the Ctrl key and press 0 key to set it to default zoom level.
  3. To zoom in press and hold Ctrl and + keys and - key to zoom out.

Note that you can also zoom in or out using the mouse wheel (if present) with the Ctrl key pressed.

You can now zoom in or out any page to reduce eye strain. Hope this helps.

Hp pavilion dv2000 lights switch on but boot or

Hi

Thank you for your query

Please try the folowing

1) Remove ALL wires and then press and hold the power button in for approx 20 seconds

2) Plug everything back in and then rerty

This may sort the issue out however from what you are descrbing, if there is no boot or display it is highly likely the motherboard and/or the CPU is faulty

I would recommend that you book the PC into a reputable PC repair shop if the above does not work

If this has been useful please leave postive feedback/vote/testimonial - Thank You Again

How do i turn off zoom function of synaptics touch pad Hp laptop

Are you talking about the two finger zoom by spreading your fingers apart on the touchpad to zoom out or pinching them together to zoom back in?
This works for Dell touch pads so below where it says ‘Dell touchpad’ it probably says HP touchpad?

· Goto your control panel
· Click on ‘Mouse’
· Click on the ‘Dell touchpad’ tab
· On the resultant popup screen, double click on the main touch pad region
· Click on the ‘gestures’ setting
· Uncheck the zoom
Good luck…Chris

I have a hp pavilion dv2000 machine currently it is loaded with windows 6.0 OS now i want to install ubuntu but i am not able to enter into bios mode to change the boot drive.

To enter setup, you usually have to press a specific key as the computer boot, on the initial POST screen. Common keys are Del, F2, F10, F12.
