Question about LG 42PX4DR 42 in. Plasma TV
One half of my tv screen is black with small colored lines running fron top to bottom. It has sound and a picture on the other half although the color is not good.. It looks like there is too much contrast. The set is only 2 years old and should last longer than this. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: lost half of picture
This can be on the matrix drive board, or the display assembly itself. It is possible to also have a defect in the address decoding area that will cause this.
The procedure is to swap out the suspect boards to determine where the fault is, leave the working boards in the set, and then follow up any necessary calibrations that are necessary.
