How do I fix my Jvc the screen won't power on. When I reset it the lights on the buttons light up...but shut off right away. It has power because the red light on the bottom left corner stays lit.

Tv wont switch on

Power supply area Sipiwe, Check Capacitors. Monitoring circuit checks for standby voltage, and if it's not there - tv will not turn on.

You are only have 5v standby circuit working, the problem can be in the main control board (not sending signal to turn on the main power supply sections) or the main power supply sections are bad.

Throw the tv in a lake like im gonna do and just get another i had this prob in the past it corrected itself and now its dead. stick wit sony theyre made better.

This is because there is an internal problem with the tv. How long have you owned the unit? I recommend getting the unit repaired.
