Re: after retune no bbc 1 2 bbc news channels tv with
Sounds like you haven't retuned the set correctly. Use the factory settings/ default setting if poss. Look out for too much signal if you are on a booster.

What you need to do is retune the TV, but when it is finished look at the regional settings. Or if the regional option is available before retuning, retune selecting your area so then you get normal BBC channels. It's likely that at the moment the channels for BBC are located at the very top end of the channel list say? - channel 800+.
You are clearly picking up signals from many transmitters. With regional settings you can change it to the area you live in.
But you will have to take into account how good your aerial is. Otherwise the signal quality will not be good on same transmitters. So the set may only suggest those with the best quality signals.
ITV stations might also change.
When done it will move the channels you mention to the top end of the guide, to 800+.
Note many HD channels have no regional options. For example here in Yorkshire we only get ITV Granada and not Yorkshire TV on the HD channel for ITV1. And BBC1HD does not show any programmes when local news comes on.
Buy a digital antena,or roof antena recieve better siginal, get everythings.Tries reset to factory setting retune again will get BBC1,BCC2 well get it back.
Unfortunately you haven't said which exact model of Sony tv you have, but there were a lot of their models which didn't behave correctly after the digital retune. In most cases this led to a digital tv freeze.
The official advice is to first try the retune again; from experience I'd add that you need to try it at least twice and to do so at different times of the day in case there is temporary unplanned signal disruption or other environmental factors.
If that does not work then you need to contact Sony directly for advice on 0870 511 1999.
Please cut and paste the following web address into your browser and you'll see a list of Freeview equipment which is known to have incompatibilities with the retune (you need to have Adobe Reader installed). Unfortunately the list has proven to be somewhat less than comprehensive.
Your question is posted under the heading Sagem PVR 6280 so I'll assume that's the model which you have.
The Sagem PVR 6280 is specifically listed as a model which will have problems with the retune.
Seethe address below for a chart of affected models, but the officialadvice is that you must contact Sagem directly on 0845 0900 316 foreither an over the air update or an update DVD depending upon themanufacturer.
You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information http://www.freeview.co.uk/_retuneinfo/ If the above process does not work then check the link above for additional information and also visit the accompanying site links below to find more information for your model of TV / FREEVIEW box.
