Screen went black after being on for a while and now unable to get a picture on any channel (cable or satellite). Sound continues. Tried changing the station on TV between 3 & 4 (getting only sound on channel 3). Any suggestions?
Look at the venting grills, you should see whit lights inside the set. If not, the backlight inverter board may have gone out or the power supply supplying the power to the inverter board may have gone out. Those are the two places to look first. It may have bad capacitors in the power supply.
