That unit uses an AR-016TD Toner/Developer Cartridge. The developer is changed each time you replace the toner. To remove the drum unit open the right side cover, then the front cover, remove the TD cartridge, loosen the green screw on the front of the developer unit housing just above the TD slot. carefully remove the DV unit without tipping or you will spill out the existing DV. Then you can pull out the drum unit. There may be a green screw on the drum that must be loosened but I don't think so on that particular model. Installation is the reverse of removal.

To change the developer must remove the toner cartridge then unit development, it has a screw you look at the front, remove the developer unit off then you will see three more screws that need to remove and then remove the drive into two distinct parts, in the front you will find developer. It should be discarded, then put aspiring developer unit again. For the drum, if you have a kit, Katun is the best, remove the cylinder, has a clip on its end to be rotated to release the longing behind the cylinder, remove the corona, it has two screws, then remove blade, it three screws. All you need, if you don't know, is in the service manual of this equipment.

Installer of sharp AR-5316

Remove the screws marked and all tapes around the copier, open the tray and remove the screw supporting it. Open the front cover and unscrew the green screw holding developer unit and pullout the unit. Open the 3 screws and pour the developer evenly and return it back. Remove the seals on the toner cartridge and insert it. Power on the copier and make a copy.

Sharp AR-M165, maintenance led and developer replacement leds on

It's the drum thats causing the lines to happen. Youre going to have to get that replaced before you can reset the counters.

If you get light copies, then the developer should be replaced.

Developer sign

The developer doesn't need to be reset on AR series machines. Toner and developer are in one cartridge. There is a drum reset. That is service code 24-07.

Did you replace the drum as well?

Sharp COPIERS - AR-5316

The cleaning blade is in the drum cartridge.
There is no developrer change in that product.
There are 2 cartridges.
The toner and drum.
Toner contains all you need as far as ink. And also the waste sump is on the toner cartridge.
The Drum is a self containted unit that has the cleaning blade and auger built in.

Add developer in sharp AR-5316

That model uses a TD cartridge so when you replace the toner the developer is included. The crum chip on the TD cartridge will reset the counters and sets the developer.
