The clicking noise is coming from the power supply relay. Is makes this sound when the TV is usually turned on or off but has become faulty. It will only get worse over time usually until the TV will no longer turn on anymore. You need to replace the power supply in order to fix the TV.

I have a GREAT solution... don't buy Samsung til they accept responsibility for faulty parts. They deny there is an issue but a quick google search return hundreds of posts on problems with the power supply and/or PS capacitors

There is a problem with the power supply in your TV. The regulator switch is causing teh clicking sound you hear. In order to fix it, you will need to replace the power supply. This is done by taking off the back cover of the TV, locating the power supply which is usually a yellow board that will have many high voltage capicators on it and replacing it with a new one.

The television takes 35 minutes to turn on

It a common issue mainly with the R71 models. Faulty power supply, can be caused by some blown caps on the chopper supplying the mains board voltage rail.
