All my touch sensitive buttons on my sgh-u600 have stopped working and now i cant even get past the enter pin screen as all the "ok" buttons are touch sensitive. is there any way i can get into my phone just to get my numbers pictures etc that are saved to the phone or i will lose all this info when i get a new phone. I have tried connecting it to the samsung pc sudio loaded on my comp but i cant connect to that untill i get past the pin screen. HELP?!!!
When you enter your pin press the hash button, this will let you into your phone!

For those who cant press ok to enter their pin, press the# instead of the touch sensitive ok key.
This will work for pin but i cant get my phone to do anything else
If you slide the screen down a fraction the buttons should start to wrk again
I have a solution,
close the phone again. then push the on/off button, and then the touchscreen should work. And the # button (right-under) will work as OK button sometimes.

i have the same problem w/ these guys! touch sensitive keys wont work, i have 119 msgs unread! When slid up, goes blank. Will only acccept calls tnx to the slide-up! cant use PC studio coz u have to press yes, w/c is touch sensitive! But to the least, it can still tell the time.. But i dont need the time coz i have a watch!
i have the exact same problem with my u700. its really frustrating!!! they say u have to take it to a repair shop but that'll cost me even more money. and to think i just bought this phone two weeks ago. what a complete waste of time, money and energy!!!
Have same problem with U600, also about to lose all my contacts.
The theory of sliding the phone half way worked for a while but even that stops working after a while.
Samsung phones are a load of s**t!
i have the same problem looks like its a general samsung *******, i have heard that souldering of the touch buttons could be snapped and thus rendering them useless the only problem is i cant get a small enough screwdriver to get the screws out from under the imei sticker or i would tell you guys if this is the case, so if anyone can get in and see if this is the problem plz let us know thanks
same problem. sometimes it work, sometimes it does not. getting really frustrated.
i have exactly the same problem i thought i was the only one, if you close your phone and press the button on the top ( the on button) once it will bring up the menue, then slide your fone up and type ur password in n then press the hash button as this acts as an enter button, then use the arrown on the side of the fone to move around n then use hash again to selct and you can do it this way. but this only lasts a short time to it also stops working but its what i had to do! its either hash or star i cant remember which i hooe this helps i just need a perminant solution now lol:)
Just would like to be able to reduce the sensitivity of the touch screen but i cant find the option in settings :( thanks for your help.
