Locked out of phone

1 Enter the default code of your cell phone and press the "OK" option. Most default codes will be "1234," "0000," the last four digits of your cell phone number, or Social Security number.

2 Press the pound key on your cell phone's keypad. Enter a six-digit security code. The code is most likely "000000."

3 Call your cell phone provider and ask them to reset your pass code. This will either reset your password to the default pass code or will disable the pass code option all together. Disabling the pass code will allow you to choose a new code.

Default pass code for Samsung SGH t359 is 0000 or 00000000. If these numbers doesn't work, you have to ask your friend the lock code she/he entered. If nothing has worked, call your service provider or the Samsung Support Hotline at 1-888-987-4357.

restore factory settings by typing the code"12345"

When you power up the phone it will ask for a security code. Power it down and up 2 or 3 more times, then enter 12345 which is the default security code. I don't know why you need to cycle the power several times but without doing this, the default security code often doesn't work. I hope this helps you out.

go to:
menu>tools>phone settings>Security(password is last four digits of you phones number if it has not already been changed. Call verizon if it;s been changed and you don't know it)>phone lock.

the oprtion will be:
"unlocked which it is it's default" and "On Power up. This means that you must turn you phone off and back on and then you have to use a pass code to use anything. You can look at your ICE contacts when it's locked but nothing else. That is so if the phone is locked and you are in an emergency those people can be contacted through another phone. The optino on the far right will be "unlock" this is when you enter the pass code.

the w850i can only be unlocked by calling ur network provider and requesting an unlock code, for 3 they will charge the existing amount of ur contract is left, also the original owner will have to call, for vodafone if u call i think they offer it for £20 not sure though.
