Is there any point in trying to fix a LG Golden Eye Model Tv CF-25H30N or a NEC Model TV FS-6331or should I just dump them?

It's time for a new TV, this one will be 30 yrs old in a couple yrs and has outlived it's life

The resolution is dependent on the settings. Did you check and adjust the pot controls? Check the connections from the source to see if any loose wires are in need of tightening? In some case HEAT causes the controls to go out of sync and give you a poor picture. Other than that, contact LG support services for their opinion.

In my LG golden eye marquis 32 inch TV, I have switch on the childhood protection mode to prevent the TV from children's by pressing the buttons on my TV.... Now The remote gets broken which was given along with the TV.. Now I bought a remote for tat model that name is LRIPL... I can't able to access the menu button and most of the buttons cannot able to process... I need to access all the buttons... Please help me..

Try changing the tv picture settings to 16:9 ratio or widescreen/letterbox setting!! Menu > picture> newer lg's also have a quick menu button on the remote. Hope u sort it.

This is line output transformer problems. Before changing LOT,watch any dry soldering is there and also check vertical output ic is good or bad ?by replacement methode.
NOTE- if you know the protection pin, isolate the pin and switch on tv through 200watts bulb seriesly.then watch the symptomes.
