I HAVE A 32INC, SAMSUNG LCD, AND THE SCREEN IS HAS NO FOOL PIC ON THE MOST OF THE SCREEN AS IT WAS HIT HARD. I AM LOOKING FOR A PRICE FOR A NEWISH SCREEN OR AN ALTERNATIVE

It isn't the most hard thing to do but it involves removing quite a few parts and if you don't have a good past in fixing technical devices like computers or something you might not be the best person to do it. I'm not sure the price but I do know apple does offer a screen repair service I believe. If I am wrong then I'm not sure. I hope this helps;)

Is it possible to post a picture of the screen with the colorful lines? You are looking at either a tcon and an lvds cable or a bad display. May be able to narrow it down if I can see a pic.

If you can see the images on the screen very faintly when you shine a flashlight on the screen, then your problem more than likely is the LCD Inverter. The LCD Inverter costs less than $10, but you will have to disassemble the lcd screen to get to it.

I'm sure you know that you can attach an external monitor to your laptop and hit the FN key and hold it while you hit the correct F1 thru F8 key that will display the image on the external monitor? This could be a solution until you get the inverter fixed.

Now a dishonest repairman will take advantage of you if you take that laptop to them talking about the backlight is going bad. He'll simply bill you $300 and tell you he had to replace the LCD Screen which houses the back light an most times it's easier to replace the screen then fool with the backlight. And in your case all he would do is replace the lcd inverter that sits under the lcd screen and is covered by the strip at the bottom that goes around the lcd screen.

If you see a crack on the screen
your LCD display needs a replacement, 52" is much high price for lcd screen replacement.

You will find it hard to locate a part number for the screen if you by the Tv model number so you are better off opening it up and getting the screen model number from the back of the screen itself, Google that part number and Im sure you'll have no problem finding a replacement, the only thing I would say is the screens are probably about 60%-70% the price of a new tv so it may not be worth fixing. It is obvious that the screen is cracked and must be replaced. There are a few problems in doing that. First, it is NEVER covered b warranty. Second, the LCD panel likely cost at least double the price you paid for the TV, if it is even available. Many are not available. Time to shop for another set. Sorry; John

Cost same as a new tv,to replaced the LCD screen.There are hundred or more sell for parts because Broken LCD screen sell in Ebay.com.The TVS industries well not sell out LCD Screen cheap or resonable price.

My i85 camera's lcd no longer displays what you are looking at. Just a black screen. All the menu items are there and working. The battery is charged. The power button is working as well as the lens open, but no image is available just a black screen. When I I try to take pic is showed very low light but doen't show image of pic taken when I check. No the lcd panel is bad. this is not cost effective, sorry i wish i could give you better news. price of lcd panel is 1.300.00. and panel is not aviable.
