SC 441 I have a error message on my printer that says SC 441 Power Off On. I'm not sure what I can do to try to fix this myself. Any suggestions? You can e-mail me at [email protected]

441 PCU (CMY) motor error
The drive motor of the CMY
PCU is not locked.
• Defective gear
• Voltage between pins 2 and 14 (CN12 on engine
control board) abnormal (not +24V), or pin 12
(CN12 on engine control board) unable to send
motor clock
• Defective CMY PCU drive motor
1. Replace the CMY PCU.
2. Replace the engine control board.
3. Replace the main drive unit assembly.

I would try replacing the CMY PCU (Drums (Photo Conductor Units) first before any of the others.

We had the same problem and we had two printers at our place and we swapped the photo conductors, it worked.
We first tried swapping the black photo conductor, it did not work.
We swapped the color photo conductor and it worked.
Solution for error SC 441: Change your color photo conductor.

What do I do when I receive a message cs441

I had this error accompanied by some strange whining gear noises. Upon investigation I found a sizeable tear in the transfer belt. Fortunately I had an old, identical machine sat awaiting collection and was able to do a straight swop. Error cleared and problem fixed.
