Power cord were can i find a replacement power cord for this westinghouse ltv-17v1 its kind of diffrent the supplier sent on but iot was the wrong one and they did not have the one i needed

If it's not a fuse in the power cord, is it possible that there is an issue with the wall socket?

Failing that, I'd look into getting a replacement either by purchasing a new one or through a warranty claim

Thats usually an inverter board issue. Replacing the inverter should solve the issue in most cases. You can get the replacement inverter board from www.tvcircuitboards.com

is it like a pc cord or the one like a laptop (mickeymouse) or like a portable stereo?

Check for bad solder joints on the power supply baord first, especially around C310 (GRAY cap as shown in my pictures)

check outlet power by connect other device, check power cord if OK check then unplug tv and open the back cover and check power filter fuse power filter is the one that you hooked power cord if OK check power supply board fuses if OK check the power supply board for bad blown components .good luck

I used a Sony code 10111 that works. Sony makes components for Westinghouse.

Get a voltage meter and see if you have 110-120volts ac at the outlet. If the lights and/or a bathroom fan have any feedback they could lower the voltage to your TV and it may have a low voltage safety relay that turns off the TV when low voltage is present. This happens in older homes. If this home is older this little problem may be telling you that the wiring in your home is old and in need of replacement. You do not want a fire.

We had the same problem with our Westinghouse LTV-19w3. Has anyone found a solution? I'm thinking it is the power supply box and cord but haven't invested in a new one yet.
