Buzzing Noise We've owned the Samsumg 61" DLP for 2 years now and we've noticed an annoying buzzing noise coming from the TV. We opened up the lid for lamp replacement and used compressed air to clear out the dust and it still doesn't do the job. Does anyone know how to fix it? The noise makes watch TV unbearable. I'm getting a headache watching TV =(

I have a loud, buzzing noise a few minutes after the set is on. The color and picture are fine, so I don't think it is the color wheel. I would guess maybe the fan. Any thoughts? Thanks, Mark

This tv have a colors wheel design in it to this tv.The buzzing noises and the colors are all screwed up because the colors wheel is worn out and spinning off of is axis and rubbing it against the wall of it hall of the steal box frame that hold the colors wheel itself.Don't attemp change the colors wheel by ur self,if u have no mechanical skills.Bacause the colors wheel itself sit way back of the tv,have to take out many mechanicals parts,before can come to the colors wheel itself to replace it.Because u will regret it later if u putting the colors wheel itself in wrong.Hire a tv repair person to replace it.
There are only 2 moving parts on a dlp tv the color wheel and the fan. The color wheel needs to be replaced about every 4 to 5 years. Some start to make noise and others like mine blow up with a bang. Go to utube to get instructions on how to replace it only cost me for part $100 good luck
My 3 yr old Samsung DLP has the same buzzing noise, had a tech out today and he said "color wheel". Thank goodness I purchased that expensive warranty, This is my 4th repair in 3 years.
I have a very high pitched sound and when I move the tv it will stop for a second or two and then start again. The sound sometimes stops all together. But very high pitch sound.
