I can not remove the top cover of my LG WM-2277HW can somebody tell me how to lift off the top cover. I already removed the screws from the rear

To get to the pump you need to remove the top plate, control panel and front cover in that order. for the front cover open the lid at the bottom left side and remove screws.

Remove the screws on the back of the top and lift the top off. Pour water into the bleach dispenser and watch to see where the leak is coming from. Post back your findings.

Disconnect the LG front load washer power cord from the wall outlet. Turn off the water supply to the washer at the water spigots coming from the wall.

Pull the washer 3 feet away from the wall, and disconnect the water supply hoses from the water inlet valve ports on the back of the washer. You may need a pair of channel lock pliers to loosen the hose connections.

Remove the screws securing the back of the top panel to the back of the washer with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Depending upon your model, you will have either two or four screws to remove.

Lift the back of the top panel up, and slide the top panel toward the rear wall, which will unhook the top panel from the clips securing the panel in the front of the washer. Lift the top panel off the washer and out of your working area.

unplug unit,then open the top cover by removing 2 screws at the rear top cover then slide cover off,then facing the front of the washer in the left rear corner theres a white box with wire harnesses protruding out,you need to remove the one harness to remove this cover and its from the power filter,this is your central control unit,now plug unit back in,in the center of this board is an L.E.D. indicator lamp,if its not lit,then this board is dead and needs replacing,its epoxied into place and can't be repaired,just get a replacement

If you have a door error, you will need to replace the door latch. you're in a bad spot. you will need to remove top metal panel of washer; and carefully separate the drawer housing a little and wiggle the drawer out. one of the compartments in the drawer popped up and jammed the drawer.

Remove the screws in the rear of the washer along the top and lift off the top cover.

Remove three phillips head screws at the back of the washer top. Slide washer top back about two inches and lift off.
