Take it down from its mount and try to restart it if this resolves the issue your mount is too tight on the back of the lcd monitor.. This happend to me as well good luck with your BRAVIA

I would guess your power supply board is slowly disintegrating. It is hard to tell what it is, until it finishes frying itself out. Plan on replacing the power board soon, 1-3 months maybe.

you can have the inverter board replaced...instead of the entire panel.
KDL 40S2010: inverter part # 178950032, you will also need 2 spacers..part # 289765511
you're looking @ 200-300$ for the inverter and 5-10$ a piece for the spacers.

KDL-46V2500: inverter part # A1251295B
you're looking @ around 500-600 $ for the part
