I'm having problems hooking up TV guardian to my Samsung HT-SK5.
The thing is, the Samsung only has audio inputs and no true audio outputs.
I can get the filtered words to display the captions on the TV but the sound is not muted.
I'm wondering if I need a receiver to connect the DVD player through to get the audio filtered.
Just purchased system, didn't come with any speakers, but when hooked up to tv get picture and no sound unless I put headphones in.

TV Guardian does not work with this model as it does not have an audio output.
TV Guardian requires an audio output to be routed through it in order to be able to filter the words.
I have this model DVD player and am in the same boat as you.
