Cl code on LG inverter direct drive 9kg washer

The child lock feature has been turned on your washing machine and when the child lock has been activated the control panel will not work and the settings can't be changed either. To turn off the child lock feature press and hold the child lock button for about 3 seconds.

Hi my LG 7.5 kg (10165fu)front loader washer has just stopped functioning. It shows on screen a big "CL".What do i do? Pls help. Griffiths

CL means that your washing machine's CHILD LOCK is ON. You can find two buttons Temp and Options in the panel. Turn ON the machine, press these two buttons together for 3 seconds and thats it. It might have a little kids face above a lock key, inbetween the wash and rinse buttons, hold these for 3/5 seconds and it should work

Illamy lg wd-1238c washing mashine is not working and is displaying a cl fault code.

CL Means Child Lock.

You may have put it on by accident.

Look for a child's face with to lines pointing to 2 buttons on your Facial Panel.

Press these to buttons for 3 to 5 seconds and the Child Lock will deactivate.

Good Luck :-) - J.Q

Machine displyas CL. Why

It means the Child Lock feature which locks the controls is turned on. Look for the two console buttons, usually adjacent, with the lock and child symbols between them like the one shown below. Press and hold those buttons simultaneously until the CL light turns off to unlock the controls.

The cl lock is on and won't oppen

LG washing machines indicating error code CL may have the child lock activated.
Try holding down the temperature and eco/rapid options together to turn off child lock.
Some LG series use "TEMP and OPTION" at the same time.

The display screen is showing CL. Nothing is

CL is child lock. See your users manual for unlocking the child lock procedure. Usually it involves pressing 1 or 2 buttons for 3 to 5 seconds. Many machines actually have a lock button you press for 3 - 5 seonds. Others use the stop pause button.

Error display "CL" - what to do?

THe child lock is on. Mine came on for some random reason. On my LG front loader there is a button on the right hand side with a cartoony picture of a child and a padlock. Press this.
