F&P Intuitive washer IW812 very noisy water

F&P Intuitive washer IW812 6years old with very noisy water flow when filling and often no water flow for a minute or two at the start, just ''graunching'' noise. Suspect the inlet valve/s but what is the ''valve diverter''? could this be the problem?

Traced the problem back to the tap. Seems the washer in the tap was faulty and producing a screaming graunching noise. Replaced the washer and all OK

Fisher Paykel Intuitive Eco Washer is squealing

You need to pull out the washer, TURN OFF THE WATER, then take the water hoses off the back of the washer. Check the screens inside the water inlets for debris. If that doesn't fix the problem you may need to ask fisher paykel if it's safe to put a chemical like limeaway in those holes to remove hard water deposits that have built up inside the valves.

Wont stop filling

If when you press pause while filling and it keeps filling then you have a faulty valve. If the filling stops then valve is ok.
If you filling keeps going until overfilling the machine which is what i understand is your problem, then most likely that you have a small pinhole in your pressure tube.
