My olevia LT23HVX will not turn on. I have the TV pluged in and i try to turn it on with a remote.. no luck. If i press the power button... no luck. The red light will blink but it will not power up.

Try unplugging and replugging after waiting.

Hi,
If you're trying from the remote control, then try from the TV and see if it works. Or vice versa... Also, make sure the TV is plugged in (you would be really surprised to see how often this is a problem).
If there is no noise and no lights, then odds are your power supply is faulty. For that tv, you're looking at a replacement of less than $100.

Is this the style of Moxi remote that you have?
If so try these steps to find your TV
1. Turn on the power to your TV.
2. Press and hold down the MOXI and OK buttons.at the same time until the LED at the top blinks twice.
3. Press the numbers 9910 on the remote and the led should blink twice again.
4. Press the mute button. If the TV mutes then press OK to lock in the code. If the TV does not mute press the up arrow once then press mute and continue to press the up arrow once then press mute until the TV mutes once the TV mutes press the OK button to lock in the code.
*** Note this may take a couple minutes of trying to cycle through the code list to find which one will work with your TV *****

I just got FIOS and had an Olevia 237 TV. Tried the LG, Phillips, RCA and Yamaha codes, no luck so I tried this:

- press and hold TV key
- still holding TV key, press the OK key and release both, device keys blink
- press 922
- point remote at TV and press play button
- press next button (two arrows pointing to right) about 325 times until the TV goes off.

Remote controls power, volume, input, and aspect.

well in most tv the dish remote control reconice the code automaticaly just press the tv button then press the power button and press de up arrow button (the one with the square over the select button) until the tv get off then press the # button to save the code try this.... good luck..and rate me

Plug a cell phone charger in the service port on the back. The charger does fix the power problem. I did contact Olevia tech support after 2+ hours on the phone and they had not heard of the charger solution and did not recommend it but when the warrenty is out "what the hey". They did sell me a new power board which I installed and that fixed the problem. $50 and return the old one. Need to be familiar with computers or electronics to do yourself.
