Possibly faulty infrared receiver on tv

Any infrared Led should work, just beware of correct polarity. More info is needed to understand exactly what the problem your having is. Infrared controls consist of an led and a Infrared photo transistor. And an encoder/decoder/microprocessor circuit. Either one could be causing your problem.

Use Ir Da (Infrared) function (old fashioned blue tooth) You might have this function on older computers otherwise you can get an Ir Da / Infrared dongle for about 10 pounds. You go to the photo, options, send and then 'send by IrDa'. You have to do it photo by photo and have phone near computer/dongle - but it worked for me.

As I have noticed on all features of computer,it usually integrated in motherboard if it supports Infrared,try to look in the BIOS if its there.If it is not..then maybe a software that can make your infrared functioning is needed.I haven't tried infrared,but since you mentioned that you had it in your computer.You can try anything to make it functioning.

I'm going to assume you mean the ML-L3 remote. If I'm wrong, please post a comment specifying the remote you are using.

Set the camera's shooting mode to one of the remote modes. Quick remote fires the camera when you press the button on the release. Delayed-response remote waits two seconds to let you hide your hand behind your back before it fires the camera.

The ML-L3 is an infrared remote, so it must be pointed in the general direction of the infrared receiver on the front of the camera.

The infrared port is by the left side of the phone, it is along the line that splits the front and the back of the phone. It is mostly covered by a thick red glass or plastic.

Infrared is a device on a phone that allows you to send and receive file using the infrared radiation wireless wave. It works like a bluetooth device, just that it must be placed close to the infrared port of the phone that is sending or receiving files from. You cannot send or receive files that does not have infrared using your own infrared.

Infrared can be used to send and receive files (data, song, pictures, videos etc).

To use the infrared of the sony ericsson K220i, you have to go to your phone 'menu', go to the 'settings', select the 'connectivity', then you select the 'infrared', turn it 'on', when you are to receive a file, you place your phone close to the sending devices infrared port. Also when receiving a file, you do the same.

When you want to send a file through infrared, you go to the file you want to send, you select the option, select send from the option, a pop up blog will come up asking you how you want to send the file, you select via infrared and your infrared will come on, the device you are sending it to would have its infrared turned on as well. The infrared ports must be placed close to themselves before the files can be sent.

if you have taken the photo, press the option button, go to send, you will be given option to send through blue-tooth,infrared or mms.
if you send through infrared or blue-tooth switch on the infrared or blue tooth of the of the receiving phone.
after some seconds the picture will be send to the phone.

dont blame the receiver yet, the problem mostly comes from the remote control. it may be the infrared emiting problem. checkout if the infrared in the remote control is emited well. to see this infrared you can read the article at http://www.unique-stuff.co.cc/fixing_remote_control_check_infrared.html

On page 14 of the Manual, it shows a diagram of your receiver. The infrared receiver is number 44, labeled "Remote Control Signal Sensor"

if u have access to another phone that you know CAN upload to the computer, bluetooth or infrared the photo's to that one and upload via it. there are also USB bluetooth AND infrared receivers that plug into your computers USB and can receive pictures or files from your phone that way.
they're the only ways i know of. Hope i was help.
