Solution for Armature winding technique used in demolition machin

Hi, I am a winding expert and I am running my own repair shop since 10 years.Recently I came across repairing of Demolition Hammer Drill:GSH-11E.The armature winding was burnt and when I tried to rectify the same, the whole armature was burnt after running for a while. May I get a assitance to do the proper winding and the technical details of it ? I could see that the winding was fractional pitch and it is a 12 slot/2 pole. But could not go beyond it.Any help in this regard will solve my problem.

Thank you
Sidharth

Look around there for some O rings we have had this same problem with some of our Bosch hammer drills, and they usually replace a set of seals around the nose of the tool

SOURCE: bosch demolition hammer bearings are ceased up, how can I remove it properly to replace?

Ok here goes. Purchase or use the bearing cover nut 3613461500 that you have taken from the base of the machine. and drill a 6mm hole in it. remove the armature from the machine and measure how far the end of the armature sticks out of the bearing. then fit the cover nut onto the bearing holder and whilst supporting the cover nut use a puller or press to press the armature off the bearing through the cover nut. Replace the bearing in the holder and press the bearing and holder back onto the armature until the amount of armature shaft showing is to the same distance that measured in the first place. Hope this helps.

Black&decker electric corded weed eater not running at full speed

the thickness of the cord , the length of the cord will both affect the speed of the motor as it needs extra power to run the longer length or thicker cord
most trimmer motors use a bush at the end of the armature shaft and this is affected by the sap out of the grass and dries out
this causes excessive wear which allows the armature to touch the field winding shoes and "pole "out . This intereference slows down the speed of the machine as it is a short in the field current to the armature
If you have an accredited appliance repair shop that is good with trimmers they may be able to replace the bushes but generally it is a replacement trimmer as the fix
have it checked out anyway.

Why don't my demolition hammer not hammer

It runs and has no hammer function , ?
First lock bolt is worn in the machine and also the O-rings burned or hardened by the leak and also the machine will run dry within or even broken.
See if repair is feasible, a rotary hammer is usually not feasible to service a breaker usually because they are made from other materials and also be made permanent load.

2 answer if the motor is only not running ? powercable carbonbrushes autostop in one of the brushes has activated or the switch or electronic is damaged 1 or more of the collectors of the armature are defect , or the electric field has a contact lost .

11316 evs solid red light

Could be it is drawing too much amperage - that is what this control detects.
How long has it been since it was torn down & serviced - that is a possibility.
The other is more costly, it is possible you have a bad armature causing this as well. Remove the bottom cover where you replaced the brushes and examine the armature - look for burnt / raised segments or burnt windings.
Let me know what you find.

My Sunbeam mixmaster junior model-jc is smelling when it runs

the smell will be burning insulation on the windings of the motor probably from the brushes being too short and arcing on the armature thereby overheating the motor. suggest you take it to an appliance repair shop for quote on repairs.

Used engine for golden companion ii

Take the MOTOR [engine runs on fuel what you have runs on electric], to a MOTOR Repair shop and have the armature rewound. What happens is that one winding shorts to another or grounds. When this happens a motor running slowly will stall when the armature rotates around to where the brush hits the electrical pad of the shorted winding. When a winding is shorted it heats up. To actually check this you can put analogue amp meter between the motor and its power supply. Block up the scooter so the drive wheels are off the ground. Now apply power until the wheel just starts to move..Does the motor stop at some point, does the meter suddenly deflect upward at anytime? Remember the power setting must be set very low to where the wheels barely moves. As far as purchasing a new motor for it. The trans-axles on these scooters are considered to bee sealed units motor and all. They will only sell you an entire trans-axles at considerable cost. Don't let them snow you motors are fixable. If you are a vet the VA might do the repair for you. Hope this helps

I have a Delta 50-850 that has begun shutting off, tripping the breaker on the machine itself. Sometimes it will run for 10 minutes, sometimes 10 seconds. It's annoying and I have to fix it. I changed...

If its not the breaker it must be the motor!

If the motor has had massses of use it could be well worn

If its had little use it could be something in the casing casung it to "drag" when its running.

When a motor is under strain it pulls more current and thats what trips the breaker.

WITH IT UNPLUGGED - check over whatever you can get to and feel happy about with the motor - if there is nothing obvious then you could take the motor out and take it to an electrical repair shop to see if it can be fixed.

It could be bearings worn, bearings stuck, windings damaged, brushes worn, armature worn, etc.

If its not the obvious - get a professional to sort it.

GOOD LUCK

Makita demolition hammer stopped working - believed electrical pblm

you have to use an ohmmeter to check it, you must check the continuity of motor coil after the switch terminal if in this point you have the reading less than 200 ohms, try checking it before the switch but this time you have to switch it on. If you have the readings continue to check it from the Power Plug. Most cases the problem is only in Power cord .
