Connect Rabbit ear antenna to VCR, Take Audio / Video Out and connect to DVR, and Audio / Video out of DVR to AV IN of TV. Start Tuning Channels using the Tuner of the VCR, and store them. Now, whenever you wish to record a particular Channel, select that channel on your VCR, and Record on your Blank DVD in the DVR.

Hook rabbit ears to a vizio tv

Weak signal? Try introducing a known working video source and see if set works. If so, try hooking up an antenna amp to the rabbit ears. If that gets some results you need to either get cable or a good outdoor aerial.

How to transfer from dvr to dvd recorder?

A DVD recorder, not connected to a computer, only can record movies.
If you have a DVD reorder connected to your PC, you need software, like NERO, to be able to write all the different codes needed to make a DVD a playable one for movie, audio or just files. (Data)

Digital converter

If you recieve your signal on this TV over the Air (Rabbit Ears) then Yes you will need a digital Converter for this TV. If you are hooked up to Cable or a Satalite Dish, your TV will continue to work without the converter box.

Need to hook up dvd/vcr combo with converter box

Connect your rabbit ears to the Insignia. Connect the Insignia to the antenna input on the "cvd/vcr combo". Now turn on the television to show the "cvd/vcr combo".

The Insignia simply goes between your antenna and your television. In your case you also have a vcr so if you want the VCR to be able to play and record digital stations you will need the Insignia between the vcr and the antenna.

Hooking up a convertor , when i have a vcr, dvd player

You can hook it up through the antennae system. Keep your dvr connected to the tv the way you had it. Hook up your TV rabbit ears antennae to the converter box in the connection on the left side of the box. Then hook up the antennae lead from the converter box to your TV on the right side connector. The only thing I'm wondering is, do you get stereo sound this way and does anyone know how to get it without hooking up the separate audio and video plugs? There aren't enough connections on the tv to hook up both sets.

Sanyo dvw 5000 setup

If you rabit ears have a ribbon cable you will need a coax adaptor. Radio Shack carries them. If you cant find them, you might have to get a set of rabit ears that has coax wires. The antenna will plug into the cable in of the DVR. You take the coax output and plug that into the tv using a coax wire.
