I cant get my camera to turn on. Have charged and swapped out 4 different batteries and still wont turn on.

When you put your battery on the charger the light should come on to indicate charging, then go off when the battery is charged. Have you seen that?

Just finished charging the battery of my Panasonic DMC-LX2. Attempted to turn on my camera but it doesn't work. The battery is completely charged and this has never happened before.

Hello....I have the same issue with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5 camera we bought 3 years ago. All of a sudden the camera doesn't work. I have had many cameras and I have never seen this before. I will think twice about buying a panasonic again.

My camera lens isn't working, how can I reset it?

it sounds like there is dirt, dust or something else in the lens mechanism. I'm assuming you don't want to take the camera to a repair shop. I've had several cameras and this issue comes up periodically.

You can try:

1. using compressed air (with as thin a nozzle as you can find) to blow out the dust,
2. try powering on the camera and zooming the lens at the same time, 3. gently knocking the camera on a hard surface to loosen the lens mechanism,
4. manually forcing the lens to go back in. This can potentially damage the camera, but it's not working now, so you don't have a lot to lose.
5. Googling the camera model to see if you can find instructions on opening the camera up to clean the lens mechanism.

Camera wont turn ON

hi lumix_user, these fuses are surface mount fuses and can not be changed by yourself, more damage will be done to the unit if you have no experience in the repairs department. take it from me i have seen what damage is done to units when they have been tampered with. please send to panasonic agents for repairs.

Wont take pictures

First of all you should take a look to the little "guide" that I posted to the "stuck lenses" problem for LUMIX. But in your case the camera is very different, so: first thing you should do is (hoping that its just a simple stuck problem, try moving the zoom gently doing circular movements and then more gently in and out with the camera on. VERY GENTLY!!! if that does not help, try disassembling the camera, the structure is similar to the one I described in the text, although its parts are smaller and more delicate. Every LUMIX camera cheaper that $ 1500 seems to have this kind of problems... REMEMBER TO BE REALLY CAREFUL or your zoom will say good bye.
