Cannot connect to subscriber in China

Typically this error indicates that you are trying to send your Adhost email through Adhost’s mail server when you have not authenticated your email account to send mail. Our mail server authenticates you through your pop account. So when you check your email, our mail server authenticates your pop user and password, captures that IP that you are checking your email from, and adds that IP to our relay list. This list is flushed every 70 minutes. This means, if you try to send email after the relay list has been flushed and before you’ve attempted to check your email, you will receive this error.

How to fix the problem:

Fix #1 - reauthenticate on our server.

Remove any email from your Outbox. If you need to keep the message, you can move it to your 'Drafts' folder.
Click "Send/Receive". This will reauthenticate you.
Try resending the email.
Fix #2 - configure your email client to check for email before sending.

In Outlook, go to "Tools" and select "Email Accounts". Make sure "View or change existing e-mail accounts" is checked. Click Next.
Select your account from the list and click "Change".
Select "More Settings".
Select "Outgoing Server".
Check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
Select "Log on to incoming mail server before sending mail".
Click "OK", then "Next", then "Finish".

This will fix your problem

Problems with sending and receiving emails

This particular account is trying to relay. Having worked for an ISP before most people do not allow this. Have you EVER been able to send to this person from this same account that you are using?? Chance are no and the reason you can send to someone else is because there account is fine. Can you send an email to yourself or another email that you may have?

My windows vista will not send or receive emails. When sending I receive Error 0X800CCC0F Wher nreciving I recive Error 797, Modem not found.

If you don't have a modem on your machine, you must have another way to connect to the Internet, an ethernet card, or a wireless card.

If you are connected to the Internet this way, you should change the configuration on your email account to use the connection, instead of dialing via a telephone line.

If you're uncertain what to do next, tell me the email program you are using (Windows Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird...), and how you connect to the internet, and I'll try to give you additional details.

Hope that helps!

0x800ccc0e message With Vista Home Premium

Symptom:
When you try to check or send any email, you get the following error messages:

The host 'pop3.example.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'pop3.example.com Mail Account', Server: 'pop3.example.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Or

The host 'pop3.example.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'pop3.example.com Mail Account', Server: 'pop3.example.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Cause:
  • Problem with internet connection.
  • Incorrect anti-virus or firewall configuration.
  • Message stuck in outbox.
  • Incorrect newsgroup notification setting.

Solution:
  1. Check your Outlook Express settings.
  2. If you cannot get web pages then disconnect your internet connection and reconnect it and try again.
  3. Reboot the computer and try.
  4. Still no luck? Then check your DNS numbers, remove and reinstall your internet connection or TCP/IP.
  5. This error can also appear if you have "notify me if there are any new newsgroups" check box selected but don't have a news account set up.
    • From the menu, go to Tools -> Options -> click on General tab.
    • Uncheck the "notify me if there are any new newsgroups" check box.

Important: If you have an anti-virus program installed on your computer and if you have set the anti-virus program to scan all emails automatically, then you need to change the settings in the anti-virus program to resolve this issue. To do that, you might need to turn off the option where it says "scan your email" or something like that. Refer your anti-virus manual for instructions.
