Can not hear on bluetooth

Hi. I recently brought a bluetooth headset H500 charged it up and paired it up with my phone. I can hear everything clearly but no one can hear me when I speak. I tried everything to fix it do you have any suggestions? mine is worse, I can do everything (ie access apps, place a call, even answer a call - which proves that the mouth/ear pieces work) but when on a call, no one can hear me and I cannot hear anyone.

Does mute make the earpiece not work? I don't get tones when pressing the two buttons and releasing. Again, I can talk on the thing, launch apps, place calls, answer calls, but when connected to a call, I hear nothing and no one can hear me.

Hi,

Did you check that you didn't by mistake activate mute? Also, check that there is nothing obstructing the microphone hole on the headset.

If it is indeed on mute. Press both volume buttons at the same time (you will hear two ascending beeps) during a call to unmute.

I mean you will hear two descending audio tones...not ascending...

Here is pic of the procedure.

When you mute the headset it only deactivates the microphone but not the ear speaker. Could you please tell me which phone you are using?

I would advise unpairing and repairing the headset.

Did you press the two buttons at the same time?

Unable to use new h500 headset

The H500 is a monaural headset, thus good for phone calls only, not for listening to stereo music. You haven't specified which Motorola phone you own. Check in its user guide if it is able to handle stereo bluetooth headsets (i.e. if it bears the A2DP and AVRCP bluetooth profiles), which are suitable for music streams. If your phone is able to handle them, go to the mall (or store, or even online), buy one set which suits you better, pair them with your phone and enjoy!
Just my 2 cents... Carlos

I am attempting to pair a motorola H500 bluetooth headset to my samsung phone it is asking for a numeric pin. what do you do?

Pairing the headset with a phone is a simple task: just hold the multi-function button for an extra few seconds when turning the H500 on, and the blue LED call indicator will turn on. This means that the headset is ready to be paired, and can be discovered with any phone, PDA, or computer that supports the headset or hands free Bluetooth profiles. As is the case for most headsets on the market, the PIN code for the H500 is "0000".

Motorola H500 Wireless Headset Pairing Problem

If you turned it on and it was steady blue most likely you held the call button too long. The steady blue means it's ready to pair with a phone. Try repairing again and if you still don't hear anything, play with the volume buttons to the top and buttom of the headset the volume may be down. If that doesn't help I don't know what will.

Connected then Disconnected!!!

that could mean your headset is not charging. make sure the light is doing what it is supposed to when charging. you probably have a defective charger. happened to me. you could try pairing it with another phone to see how long it lasts. I found the Moto HS850 to be the only good, reliable one.

I have a problem with my bluetooth H500

You need to full charge both units first before to try them again. YOU MUST KNOW ONE MAIN KEY HERE IS THE BLUETOOTH HEADSET MUST BE IN PAIRING MODE WHICH IS MEAN THAT THE LED MUST IN STANDING MODE NOT IN FLASHING MODE AND WHEN THE LED OF THE BLUETOOTH HEADSET IS IN STANDING MODE, BRING IT CLOSER TO YOUR PHONE AND BE SURE YOUR PHONE BLUETOOTH FEATURE IS ON AND BE RECOGNIZED FROM OTHER DEVICES. Try to restart carefully step by step each device as described above and then if you still can not get them pairing then either on eof them has Bluetooth function impaired. You need to have another Bluetooth Headset to test whether your phone Bluetooth function or the Headset has it. Good Luck
