Any clue what error code 6030 is?

We recently updated the Firmware from the 0150 error code, it worked fine for a couple of days and now is presenting this error code? Does anyone have a clue as to what it is?

    Thanks, we replaced the fuser assembly and it appears to have resolved the problem. Thanks for the assitance and advice, couldn't find the code on Kyoceria's site to save my life.

I had the same problem. Pull the Fuser and check Conector.Sometime pieces of paper inside the Conector raises an error.

6030 error indicates thermistor or heat lamp in fuser or thermal cutout is open circuit, replace fuser assembly is the fix.

Parsonsr note: 4 codes start with F and the rest are all numbers like 6030 or 0150

    no you wont find the code it is a service error, only found in service manual

Hi ,
Kyocera prointers error codes should start with a letter ie A-G. Can you post this error code adn i can tell you whats up with it.

Kyocera fs-3900dn 0150:0000007 error
Sounds like a Engine firmware failure. The clue is the low page count (the 00007).
You will need to upgrade your firmware and contact your local Kyocera sales comany to get a patch to correct the missing serial number and MAC address.

I have a kyocera FS-2000D with error code: Call for service 0150:0000049. Help...thanks in advance
Error code 0150 is an engine EEPROM communication error. The engine board might need to be replaced. I have heard that sometimes a defective developer unit could cause this same error code. I would try swaping a develper from a working FS-2000D first.

The codes indicate firmware errors (possibly a failure of the formatter board, but more likely firmware). Up-to-date firmware is available for download at www.hp.com/support/LJP3005. Read the installation instructions for the firmware update. If you have ANY doubt AT ALL about your ability to successfully update the firmware, pay a shop to do it for you. A failed firmware update may not be recoverable, and the formatter board is rather costly.

My Kyocera fs-3900dn has the message: call service 0150:0040557. What does it mean?
0150 - Engine PWB EEPROM error. Detecting engine PWB EEPROM communication error.

Solutions:
1. Switch the printer OFF; unplug the power cable; wait 20 seconds; plug in the power cable; switch the power ON, If the error comes back follow the next solutions:
2. Update / Burn the latest firmware version. You may need to call a Kyocera Service Provider because you need a CF card (compact flash memory card) and the FIRMWARE.
3. Replace the Engine PWB (a board) - again you have to call a Kyocera Service Provider.

It needs a firmware update, very common, it would most likely be under warranty, if not post email so I can give you the firmware update required and I will instruct you on how to upload it to your quality printer.
