Hello,

Region codes is a built-in feature of the DVD system designed to control where discs are viewed and distributed. All DVD hardware and software is coded using one of six numbers ( DVDs Regions 0 , 7 and 8 are special cases - see below ). The U.S. and Canada use Region 1. Region 2 discs are used in the U.K. , Europe and Japan . While Australia and the Caribbean use Region 4. These codes determine where the discs can be played.

Your console must match the discs region code.
This is not the case so you wont be able to play with this game.

Hope it helped.

The disc you are playing is from a different region then your console. Did you purchase the game in a different country then you bought your xbox?

The wrong region error on your DVD or Blu-ray player means you are trying to play a disc that is not meant to be played in your country.

The simplest solution to get around the region code issue is to rip the Blu-ray/DVD disc you want to play to MP4 so that you can play it on your Xbox. Check out how to rip and convert Blu-ray/DVD to MP4 in this article: How to Rip and Convert Blu ray to MP4 with Blu ray to MP4 Converter

SOURCE: psp region coding

To change your region code you need to go to NANO options, then ID Storage tools, then Change region. It will give you 3 options: Europe' Japan, and America. Choose one. After that you will be prompted; "Do you want to continue?" Click "Yes" and you should be all set! Good luck!

Incorrect disc region code

Look at the region code of the DVD that plays on the vehicle DVD if it is the same of the others that do play it's not a region code issue. If the others are a different region to the DVD that plays or the disc says it is region free. Then you might have a problem with the region code settings on the machine. You can look up the model number of that player to see if you can change the region code.
Otherwise check out the player to see if it needs cleaning or is faulty.

The disc you are attempting to use is not for your region. Buy a new version of the disc in question for your country/region.

What does "incorrect disc" mean

It could be one of several things:
  • Dirty disc. Clean with outward strokes with a paper towel and water or Windex if needed
  • Dead DVD player
  • DVD may be for a region that your player does not support.
  • If the DVD is burned (home made), sometimes players are not forgiving and not all will play burned discs.

Message incorrect disc

It is possible that the DVD is not the right format, or that the region code is not correct for the region that you are in. See the PDF file below for more information.

Disk region incorrect message pops up

It's not the dvd; it's your player. I'm answering my own question. I did a search and found a code that needs to be set into my dvd player. So do a google search asking "wrong region" and the name of your dvd player. Someone is sure to have hacked through the problem and is more than willing to tell you how to fix it. Worked for me! Why does this even happen?
