Today i purchased Acer AL1916W. I tried to connect my external TV tuner (Intex IT 3488) with this new lcd monitor but it shows as "Input not supported". I tried the same with my old samsung samtron monitor, it is working fine.
Please help me to solve this problem.
Frontech external Miracle TV tuner not working with LCD(ACER 15") monitor. Error msg "input format not suppoting". But CRT monitor (samsung 14") is working with the same.

The input not supported typically describes the frequency at which the computer is trying to send the images to the monitor. Depending on your o/s it normall detects the correct format when loading, but if you just plug it in while it is on, it may try to send the same frequency as the previously plugged in monitor.
Try turning the pc off... then plug in the monitor you want, then turn the pc on, if this doesnt work let me know.
