My guess, only support people know what the two beeps mean.
Try to remove the battery and after a few seconds insert it again.
Then again switch on. If the error returns, contact the dealer or Casio support. Still it could be you think the battery is charged, but the capacity is not enough to power up your camera.
This Camera has an CCD issue. It seems that the CCD of the Camera is gone bad. However, you may try resetting the Camera to the factory settings. If the issue persists, try power resetting the Camera. To power reset, remove the battery of the Camera and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and reinsert the battery after one minute and check the operation. If the issue still persists, the service is required.
Remove the Battery pack from the Camera then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Next, reinsert the Battery pack in the Camera and try to turn it ON. Make sure that the Battery pack is fully charged. If the LCD remains white then the LCD screen needs to be serviced or replaced.
Send it back to Casio for a free estimate.
Depending on the price of your camera you can decide if you want it repaired. The price they charge is reasonable only problem they only give a 3 month guarantee.
I would guess that the battery is not being charged. The problem could be poor connections between the charger & Camera or between camera and battery; or the battery no longer will take a charge.
First, clean the connections with the eraser end of a pencil. Clean the connections on the Charger and on the camer; clean the battery connections and in the camera, Charge overnight. If this does not get the camera working, borrow a battery and see if this works.
try removing the battery for 24 hours and allow the battery to charge for that long as well unless you charge the battery in the camera with a docking station then just leave it out also take a good look at the lcd when you try and turn it on see if the image is really dark but their is still a image. one this that I have noticed while working on casio is that a lens error can cause the lcd to be very dark and you can barley see a image but it is there so it causes you to thing the camera is dead. If you do see a image then the problem lies inside and needs to be serviced but if you don't then it lies in the power source. ie battery or power circuit of the camera. after the battery shows charged have it tested with a ohm meter it can help determine if it is a good battery. you can have it checked sometimes at radio shack or a place called batteries plus if you do not have one. I hope this helps out I know it can be frustrating but it happens. good luck.
Did you put a memory card in the camera? My camera did this today, and I resolved it by putting a memory card in, but even when one has been out before it still turned on, so I'm not sure that is the resolution. Did you ever find out what was causing it?
