I have an LG BD370 and it won't play 3 of my dvds, the dvds are fine because I can play them on my other player. Any advice please?

Sounds like your Blu Ray is region coded. You will need to region-free the player so it will play them all. Normally happens with PALS formatting. You need to update the firmware on the device via using an internet connection. Sounds like it's out of date.

Also you may wish to follow the following site post. Excellent tricks to make this device region free.

Hope that works for you.

I have LG BD370, purchased a Netgear Wireless WNR2000 N-router, As recommended in the manual, I purchased a (Linksys Cisco Powerline AV Network kit model PLK300. That was connected w/ Cat 6 cables. Have...

Get a Wireless Access Point ($30-$50 average). A wire from WAP to the Blu-Ray player should work like a charm. The WAP pretty much takes your wireless connection and transforms it back to a wired Ethernet connection for devices like this. You can have your Wireless Router on one side of your house and the WAP on the other, right next to your blu-ray player with a short Ethernet connection between the two. The player will just see it as a standard Ethernet connection.

try connecting your internet cable to a pc to see if the problem is not with the router, and if is not with the router then it's provably in the seetings of your blue - ray.

Just bought a LG BD370 but it is playing DVD's in black and white. What may be the problem?

Try this is it may help to view DVD in Color

On the back of your DVD player you will find 3 cables one white, one yellow and one red these are also connected to the back of your TV. Keep one end connected to your DVD player and disconnect them from the back of your TV and reconnect them to the plugs on the front of your TV.

You have several ways to do this. You can hdmi cables from the two units and plug them into your tv if it supports hdmi and run the audio out portion on the back of the tv and hook that into one of the audion inputs on the surround unit. Or you run audio directly out of the bluray using rca, digital coax, or digital optical cable. Turn the surround reciever to the corresponding input that you choose to use.
