Just say what display tells you. Does it say E-Bar or E-Code.

hi Manojkuma240, I have a safewell also, Model number starts with TJ and we have the key and code for it but the manual is nowhere to be found. Any idea on changing the code? Any assistance would be appreciated. Have contacted Safewell in China as well but no response as yet.

Just Open the safe. Look for a red color button on the back side of the safe. Press the button, enter the new code. It will give you a beep sound. New code is set

Gordon Safe P45891. The battery is low. How to open and replace the batteries please?

The video shows one way, but the easy way is open it with the back up key, and the battery compartment is in the door. Replace the batteries and reset the combination, but make sure you do it with the door open.

The batteries of my powersafe TR 36 are dead and I don't have any key. What can I do to open the safe? Urgent! Thank you in advance!

I know this post is months old, maybe you didn't open your safe yet or maybe someone else could use the advice.

The batteries are no inside the safe because of this reason, that you should be able to change them if they run dry.

Under the key panel is a long plastic panel. You can slide it to the right and underneath you find the battery compartment.

Can not open safe no key dead batterys

You should be able to change the battery from outside the safe by removing to keypad but no key means you have to drill out the lock start with a small titanium drill bit like a 3/16 and step up the hole size until you have the entire core drilled out then you will have to drill a hole throw the metal case(1/2"drill bit) above and below the key hole to get to the pins then drill a hole in the pins with a small drill bit just enough to put a notch in them so you can pry up on the bottom and down on the top with 2 screw drivers at the same time to release the pins ( not easy to get into a safe ) but it can be done I had to get in to one and this is how I did it, it took about 2 hours to get in it . And the safe was ruined in the process you could call a locksmith that could cut a key for it don't know how much it would cost? They just slip a blank key in the key hole and notch out where the tumblers leave marks on the blank it takes a while and a few blanks. But it can be done if you know what to look for on the blanks.

Hope this helps and good luck........

I have a pilot hotel safe model sae-1410 batteries are dead. it looks like an adapter plug for external power is that correct?

Yes, that's right. You can use an external battery box with a mini-jack connector to give power to the keypad. If you have it, just plug it in, type in your code as usual and turn the key. Should be fine. Otherwise, use your emergency key (the round one), which overrides the keypad. You need to flip off the cover around the main keyhole and underneath is the emergency key hole. Turn that first, then the main key...hey presto!
