I have tried to format the player and delete all sample video and songs on the make more space, and even tried to use a convert mp3's from my audio file from wav files and still with 128kps per mp3 song I seem to use up the memory very quickly. I am new to the mp3 technology,, how can I get 1150 songs on my player?

The figure that is given for songs you can load to your MP3 player are calculated using 128Mb/s for 3 min songs. But the amount of memeory occupied by each song depends on the bit rate (KB/s) and the duration of the song (time in sec). So if are going to load songs with a longer duaration and want to load more songs then load them with reduced bit rate.

However note reducing the bit rate of your songs wilol also compromise the quality of your songs, it will be good too use variable bit rate setting a low bit rate like 64-96Kb/s.

To convert your songs you can try using Easy CD-DA extractor convertor it offers a variety of output formats at different bitrates and qualities.

I cant download songs onto sony nwz-b135 walkman.i need to go from start to finish

If you download "MEDIA MONKEY" and install, connect your mp3 when running media monkey, it will ask if you treat as mp3 or drive, choose which ever method, and sync. I recomend set as drive as you can drag and drop as if a disc drive, I tried as mp3 but found it put songs on in a random way.

Here is the info from Sony:
Is it possible to drag and drop music from the Apple® iTunes® software to the portable player using the Content Transfer Application? Solution
sp.gif sp.gif Yes, if you have iTunes software installed, you can transfer music and playlists from iTunes software to the Walkman® player by dragging and then dropping the files to the Content Transfer application.
NOTES:
  • The Content Transfer application supports data transfer from iTunes software 7.6 or 7.7 to the Walkman player.
  • The Content Transfer application supports data transfer from iTunes software 8.0. However, for playlist transfer from iTunes software 8.0 to the Walkman player, make sure you are using the latest version of the Content Transfer application. The latest version can be downloaded from the Sony Support Web Site at http://esupport.sony.com
  • Digital Rights Management (DRM) copyright-protected files are not supported. iTunes music files may be able to be upgraded to iTunes Plus music files, which do not contain DRM.
  • Do not disconnect the USB connection during data transfer.
  • If there is insufficient free space on the portable player, the data cannot be transferred.
  • The Content Transfer application is included with most newer Walkman Video players. It also is available for additional models in the NWZ-A, NWZ-E, and NWZ-S series. Some models may require an update to be compatible. Additional model-specific information can be found in the Drivers & Software section of the Sony Support Web Site at http://esupport.sony.com.

make sure your downloading it to the right folder on the mp3 player its usualy the music folder or you can try and use windows media player here are some instructions for that option.
--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.
