Tessot steel wrist watch band

I have a new tIssot watch with a link bracelet. It has been adjusted to fit my wrist but still falls down to my hand. I like watch to sit on wrist. Had one more link taken off but then too tight. Is there such a thing as a wrist guard or something that slips under the watch or band to provide a snugger fit? I love this watch but don't like it constantly moving on my wrist.

Are all the links the same size? I ask because some watches have a half size link or two mixed in with the regular size links. You may be able to mix them and make it fit more comfortably. Is the clasp adjustable at all?

From where i can buy a bracelet for Tissot PR 50.

mcdevito75 here, Ebay is a great place for your Tissot watch band, or you can check with any small watch repair shop in your area, specially if you want a band directly from Tissot.

Remove links

  • Wrap the watch band around your wrist to determine how many links need to be removed for the watch to fit properly.
  • 2 Place the watch face-down on a flat surface.
  • 3 Look on the back of the watch band. You will find an arrow that indicates which direction you should push the pins to remove the links.
  • Find the point at which the extra links need to be removed for your watch to fit your wrist. Using a 1 mm flathead screwdriver (or the edge of one side of a pair of tweezers), push the pins in the direction indicated by the arrows.
  • Finish removing the pins with your pliers.
  • Keep the extra links in case you ever need extra room on your watch band.

After buying this model watch bracelet links are rusted and torn with one year of purchasing. When i took that watch to the show room where i purchased. They kept it for 40 days saying that they has to...

mcdevito75 here, Many watches built today are not comming out with replacement Bands (straps, Bracelets) from the factory, the cost of makeing and keeping extra bands on hand is too high, they should at least have a few extra links to replace worn ones. Chances are your warantee is over on the watch and in that case, you"ll have to find another band, Bracelet on your own. Best Bet, visit a small watch repair shop in your area for another bracelet, band, Strap.

How do I adjust my watch band?

If you want to deuce the size of your band then I have found some instructions on the Fossil website and since most watches are very similar you can try the method described there.

If you need to replace links then you can get them for Skagen (free!).

Go to "fossil.com", go to the bottom of the page and you will see a menu, click on "customer care", and then look under "Product Info" on the left and you will see "watch instructions"

Go down the list to the bottom and under "Phillipe Stark" there is an item "bracelet instructions"

How to open Baume & Mercier Hampton Milleis ladies stainless band

Looking at your watch it looks like the clasp on the SS model is just a double deployant preasure fit. If it is brand new sometimes these style of deployants are vary tight.

It is Stainless Steel it is vary difficult to break it looking at the construction of the bracelet.

Basically you just Pull, there is no button it is just pressure fit.
