When you have any wireless device like a laptop. you may connect wireless router and surf the net or mobile etc

sorry, but if you are able to surf the net then you are already connected! most broadband modems are dhcp meaning that they automatically connect to the server. however, use the ethernet connection instead of the usb connection with windows 7! there are allot of incompatibilities issues windows 7 and devices that were made before january 2011. also windows 7 requires that all device drivers be microsoft approved and digitally signed by microsoft or windows 7 will not install the device driver. oh it would be better to use a router as well.
i almost forgot "is this a laptop?" and is there a wireless adapter on it? because you might be surfing through a wireless connection. need more info though.

I got your issue, you must make sure the firmware is upto date in your router since in the surf wireless router we have the issue only because of firmware.

Click here to download the firmware.

Update it in the router using a wired computer, if you do it in a wireless comp, connection will be disconnected.

u need to configure your router. insert your broadband cable into wan port and then can connect ur 2 laptops through lan

make sure its pluged in properly then scan for networks if it does not find any networks make sure that your ip address is set to auto then tipe in your WPA key that sould work if it doesnt send me an email to [email protected] and i will walk you trough the steps till you can conect and PLZ RATE SOLUTION TANKS

try this, turn off your pc then shut down your router then shut down the modem after 5 minutes restart the modem after all the lights are lit turn on the router after all those lights are lit start you pc, then go to my network icon and view network connections, then click on the properties tab high light the tc ip line and hit the properties tab click Obtain IP address automatically and the same for Obtain DNS server automatically. In the advanced tab in the IP address box have DHCP Enabled and check the box Automatic metric, in the DNS tab check Append primary and connection specific DNS suffixes and check the box to Append parent suffixes of the primary DNS suffix, at the bottom check the box Register this connection's address in DNS. In the WINS tab check the box Enable LMHOST lookup and click the Default in NetBIOS setting. Now having done this click OK and OK again then click the close tab for the properties window and then reboot your computer, you should be able to surf the net with out any problems.

If your router's internet light is red it means to say that there's no connection. You really have to call Tesco.

this doesnt make sense as you wouldn't be able to send or receive. If you ave an antivirus programme check it's not scanning your message then putting it in the outbox. If you have changed your service provider recently but kept your old e mail address then the smtp settings are incorrect in your email send settings and may also require server authentication, although your pop3 receiving account may not need to change.
