It is stuck on wash cycle

The logic chip is messed up... replace the whole circuit board

This indicates that the DOOR SWITCH is faulty and is not contacting without which the machine will not start off as it encounters an error for safety.
You can remove the door switch clean and reset it or else replacement is the best option.

As it is only a few weeks old, get it replaced.

Water contamination on the electrical terminals will cause the washer to "Earth Out" and take out the RCD Household safety trip.
See where the contamination is and replace the contaminated items.

well its not in a microwave is it? its in your mixer,,,,yes they do get stuck in and also out,,,its down to lack of servcing,,,try giving it a splash of WD40 and a good working over with some thing to "flick it with!" it may start moving again,,,,,wash it well after and next time dry it off better before you put it away?

Hi I exactly have the same problem.. seems to be a common issue with this Electrolux series.. Thought that Electrolux was serious brand but obviously quality is leaving our world.. did you fix the problem and how..?

Hi, these machines get corrosion in the door safety switch. I would start there.

A little cleaning of the contacts might get that machine going. How about a repair manual?
