Not much you can do, it needs to either be replaced or you can have it reheated and soldered back into place on the mainboard of the phone.

Good luck! hope that helps....

My phone was charging 2 nights ago but I had to hold the charger a certain way and today my phone will not charge what do I do to fix it?

Sounds like the charging port has a bad solder joint, this can be caused by accidentally pulling the phone while it is still plugged into the charger. The charger isn't the problem and neither is the phone software the problem is the port itself has come loose from the board. It needs to be replaced.

My galaxy 3 phone will not charge properly how do i fix it

Charging issues is a process of elimination. First the charger....many chargers will fit but not all that fit will work. A bluetooth charger will fit but would never charge your battery completely. Make sure you are using a proper charger. 2nd is the charging port on the phone. If the charger is loose it could be a bad port or the prongs on the charger are not holding....is it loose? Or if there is corrosion on the port. If corrosion, clean with alcohol and tooth brush. 3rd is the battery. If its swollen, then it's toast. A li-on battery will start to decrease after 400 to 500 charges.

Where can i get my galaxy s charging port fixed and how would the port become loose?

If it's loose it is probably broken away from the internal circuit board. A common problem. People accidentally knock the plug sideways and they only have fragile connections.
Get a technician to resolver if possible or take to Samsung repair centre.

My phone wont charge i always have to put it in a different position too get it too charge wats wrong with it?

Hi, there are two things you will need to test for ,

The charger and the charging port.

The charger of the phone might not be contacting properly causes it to fail or loose contact, that might be the reason it needs to be position properly before it charges.

You can use another charger to see how firm it will on another phone, so that you can be able to know if you will need to replace the charger with another one.

The charger port is where you plug in the charger to the phone for the phone to be able to charge.
Sometimes if the charging port is weak, itmight not be able to hold the charger properly,it will be failing contact.

Also you can use another charger to test with your phone and see how firm it holds on the phone and if it will charge the phone without failing.

I guess when you test for the charger and the charging port, problem will be solved.

Feel free to pass your comment.

Phone not holding charge with new battery

Hello,

Have you try to use another charger to charge and it doesn't hold charge? if yes., no problem because it be that your charger is bad. But since it does not charge with another charger, it means the charging port is bad.

The problem with the phone is the charging port, the charging port of your phone is not charging the phone that is why it doesn't hold any charge,

All you need to do is to change the charging port of your phone and you will see that your phone will hold charge.

Take care.

My sanyo pm 8200 wont hold charge!

Hello,

Since the battery and charger are new and yet it does not still hold charge.

Have put the battery in another similar phone and try to charge with your charger to see if it will hold charge? if you have.

It means the charging port of your phone is bad and you will need to replace it.

The charger is not charging the battery in anyway because the charging port is bad, so just change your charging port, your phone will now hold charge.

Take care.

Hello,

It is not your battery, as far it is charging when you get the right spot at the charging port.

I advice you change your charging port because it is glaring it cannot hold your charger firmly anymore that why you have to all through the stress of locating where it will charge at the charging port.

Just replace the charging port, you will see it will charge without you holding it.

To confirm that your battery is still very good, you can remove it and place in another phone, if it charge, it means it is good.

Please also try to use the charger to charge another similar phone to see if it will giving you such problem because it could also be that the charger is bad.

Take care.

Motorola razr2 v9m wont charge

My guess is that the charging port in your phone has gone bad. By holding it a certain way, you may be reconnecting it just enough to make the connection. Probably have a loose or broken wire inside your phones port. You may also see this is a problem if you try to hook it up to a pc.

Have you checked the mouth of your charger? Because your charger mouth might have loose contact internally and you not knowing. But to confirm this, you have to borrow the type of your charger from a friend and test if your phone will do the same thing. And if this does not solve the problem, try loosing the phone with a phone screw driver, check if the charging port is contact the phone board well and if this did not still solve the problem, then you will have to completely change your phone charging.

Best wishes.
