Reseat drum dell color printer 3010cn

It means that you have to fix the drum,(ie the long cylinder that contains powder in the toner properly)

Dell Print Quality Problems: Horizontal lines On One Side

Try running a cleaning sheet through the printer. Remove the drum and check you waste toner (if that is built-in to your drum then skip this). If that gets full, then some of the bad toner can spill out creating lines/smuges. I would also use compressed air to blow out the inside of the printer where the toner/drum goes. That will help remove anything that is left behind after a replacement.

Also, check the settings in the print server for anything that will clean the printer/correct horizontal lines.

Printer error message 004-321 restart printer took out toner compartment and put back in and it stil doesn't work any other ideas?

remove the drum. turn the printer off and on. when it asks for the drum, install it. if that does not help, call support (1-877-459-7298) and they will probably replace the drum.

Dell 3010cn DRUM

The information I have on that error is as follows:

From the Dell TS Guide:

http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dsn/en/tree?c=us&cs=04&journalid=4D4C014288160766E040A68F5A283437&l=en&s=bsd&treeid=DCD92482F5548BF9E030A68F27281FC1&Query=ZHJ1bStlcnJvcg==&SystemID=PRN_LSR_3010CN&ServiceTag=&contenttype=-1&os=-1&component=-1&lang=-1&doclang=en&toggle=true&dl=

1. Replace the cartridge with a new Dell Branded one
2. If cartridge doesnt resolve, replace the left Intermediate Belt Transfer (IBT) guide assembly.
3. If that doesn't fix, replace the Machine Control Unit (MCU)

Error message 004-321?

I HAD the same problem...a couple of posts up/down, someone suggest to re-align the film roll on the Drum. This worked for me. There are two wheels on the outer-side of the film reel (the film reel is one of two reels on the main top drum). Take out the drum, not the green reel, but the other one. Check both ends and you can se/feel two little silver metal wheels (again, at the ends). Roll the film around with your fingers until it is aligned evenly with the wheels. The metal on the wheels should not be showing at all, they should both be covered by the film reel. Replace the drum and cross your fingers. This worked for me...I'm sure a NEW drum would fix the problem, as well.
